Overview

Shuheit is a habit tracking application that helps you build positive daily routines. Your privacy is important to us, and this policy explains how we handle your information.

Data Collection

Shuheit does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to external servers. All your habit data is stored locally on your device using Apple's Core Data framework.

Local Data Storage

The app stores the following information locally on your device:

• Habit names and categories you create
• Daily progress and completion records
• Points earned and streak information
• App preferences and settings

Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, or transmit any of your personal information or habit data to third parties. Your data remains exclusively on your device.

Analytics and Tracking

Shuheit does not use any analytics services, advertising networks, or tracking technologies that would collect your personal information.

Data Security

Your habit data is secured by your device's built-in security features, including device passcode/biometric authentication and iOS sandboxing.

Apple Health

If you enable the Health overlay in Trends, Shuheit reads only the Health metrics you explicitly select (for example sleep duration or step count). This access is read-only. Health data is processed entirely on your device to draw charts and compute simple comparisons, is never written back to Apple Health, is never stored outside Apple Health, and is never transmitted anywhere. You can revoke this access at any time in the iOS Health app under Sharing.

AI Habit Drafting

Shuheit offers an optional feature that turns a written description of habits you want to build into a draft plan. If you choose to use it, the text you type is sent to an AI service (Anthropic's Claude API) to produce the draft, and is processed ephemerally to answer that single request. So that drafts fit your existing setup, the request also includes the names of your habit categories (for example "Body" or "Mind"). Your habits, logs, points, and Health data are never sent. The feature only runs when you tap it; nothing is transmitted in the background. If you dictate your description, Apple's speech recognition converts it to text, on your device whenever your iPhone supports it.

Data Backup

Your habit data may be included in your device's iCloud backup if you have iCloud backup enabled. This is controlled by your iOS settings, not by the app.

Children's Privacy

Shuheit is suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, as we do not collect personal information from any users.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the app and on this page.
